Our new home even came with a pedigree! It was completed in 1887, as the Masonic Temple… and boy what a life it had! The Richmond newspapers spoke volumes over the years of the elegant affairs and events hosted here. Even Theodore Roosevelt, the namesake of our “Roosevelt Grand Ballroom”, graced the property in 1905 when he and his wife came through Richmond on his tour of the southern states.
We just fell in love with the architecture & the warm reception we received from the events coordinator, Tommy Waters. After all the other various appointments at other facilities, we kept coming back to the Renaissance. No other place had everything we had on our list of priorities

Fairy tale wedding!
We visited several venues before coming to the Renaissance and did not get the instant feeling of comfort we had walking into the Renaissance. The building is absolutely GORGEOUS and I could immediately picture the perfect reception.

Our property is in the heart of Richmond Virginia's hottest area , The Arts District. Built in 1887 as the Masonic Temple, It's beauty and grace is perfect for you and your guests. Our original plaster molding, three crystal chandeliers, and full hardwood floor in the ballroom provides a unique experience that exists nowhere else in our area.

We provide custom pricing for all of our events whether it be for weddings, parties, birthdays, Mitzvahs or other celebrations. Most of our events, With guest count of 150 guests normally range between $125 to $150 per guest.
